French Dip Beef (Instant Pot)

Classic French dip beef with au jus built right in for dunking.

Ingredients (6–8 servings)

Settings

  • Pressure: High Pressure
  • Time: 70 minutes
  • Release: Natural Release 15–20 minutes, then quick release

Instructions

  1. Add broth. Pour beef broth into the inner pot.
  2. Add roast. Place chuck roast in the broth.
  3. Season. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the top.
  4. Pressure cook. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 70 minutes.
  5. Release. Natural release 15–20 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
  6. Slice or shred. Skim fat from broth if desired and serve with au jus for dipping.

Serving ideas: Pile onto rolls and dip in the cooking broth.
