Instant Pot Chili (All Cans, No Leftovers)
No chopping, minimal measuring, and easy thickening after pressure cook.
Ingredients (6–8 servings)
Settings
- Pressure: High Pressure
- Time: 12 minutes
- Release: Natural Release 10 minutes, then quick release
Instructions (dump-and-go method)
- Add water. Pour water into the inner pot.
- Add meat. Add ground meat and gently break it up with a spoon.
- Add the rest. Add remaining ingredients. Stir lightly near the surface; avoid scraping thick bits across the bottom.
- Pressure cook. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 12 minutes.
- Release. Natural release 10 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
- Finish. Stir vigorously to break up the meat. If thin, use Sauté 5 minutes to thicken.
Optional: Sauté the meat first until no longer pink, then add the rest and pressure cook as above.
Toppings: Cheese, sour cream, onions, tortilla chips.
