Italian Sausage + Marinara (Instant Pot)

No-brown sausage simmered directly in marinara with a quick pressure cook.

  • Pressure: High Pressure
  • Time: 6 minutes
  • Release: Quick release immediately

Instructions

  1. Load the pot. Pour marinara into the inner pot, then add the half-jar water.
  2. Add sausage. Lay sausage links in the sauce and nestle them in. Do not stir.
  3. Pressure cook. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 6 minutes.
  4. Release. Quick release immediately.
  5. Finish. Stir sauce; if you want it thicker, use Sauté 3–5 minutes.

Serving ideas: Sausage subs, pasta, polenta, or rice.
