Lentil Carrot Tomato Soup (Bag + Bag, Instant Pot)

One of the easiest true dump meals: pour, pressure cook, stir, and eat.

Ingredients (8–10 servings)

Settings

  • Pressure: High Pressure
  • Time: 15 minutes
  • Release: Natural Release 10 minutes, then quick release

Instructions

  1. Add liquid. Pour broth and water into the inner pot.
  2. Layer in solids. Add lentils, carrots, optional frozen onion, and seasoning.
  3. Top with tomatoes. Pour diced tomatoes on top and do not stir.
  4. Pressure cook. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 15 minutes.
  5. Release. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release.
  6. Finish. Stir and eat as-is, or mash slightly with a spoon for a thicker texture.
