Salsa Verde Carnitas (Instant Pot)
Three ingredients, no browning, and a broiler option for crisp carnitas edges.

- Pressure: High Pressure
- Time: 60 minutes
- Release: Natural Release 15 minutes, then quick release
Instructions
- Season. Sprinkle salt over the pork chunks.
- Load the pot. Pour salsa verde into the inner pot and nestle the pork in the sauce.
- Pressure cook. Seal and cook on High Pressure for 60 minutes.
- Release. Natural release 15 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
- Shred. Shred pork with two forks and stir into the juices.
Optional crisp: Spread shredded pork on a sheet pan, spoon a little cooking liquid over top, and broil 3–5 minutes until browned.
Serving ideas: Tacos, burrito bowls, nachos, quesadillas.
